The Super 8 Vaughan was acquired by Lakeview Hotel REIT in March, 2006. This 85 room four-storey, limited service facility opened in 1999 featuring complimentary continental breakfast, guest laundry, indoor pool, whirlpool and a 20 foot high waterslide. Vaughan is Canada’s fastest growing city in terms of new construction on a per capita basis. The Super 8 Vaughan is located conveniently off Highway 400 and Steeles Avenue with excellent visibility from both sides of Highway 400. The hotel is proximate to a number of corporate and leisure demand generators including CN Rail, Sanyo Fisher Canada Inc., The Toronto Star, York University, Paramount Canada’s Wonderland and Vaughan Mills Shopping Centre. 38,000 square feet of excess density is available on the hotel site for possible future expansion of the hotel.
