The initial hotel property acquired by Lakeview Hotel REIT was the Lakeview Inn & Suites, Fredericton, a four storey limited service hotel located in Fredericton, New Brunswick. The property opened for business as a Country Inn & Suites By Carlson in the fall of 1994 and was converted to a Lakeview Inn & Suites in September, 2002. The Lakeview Inn & Suites Fredericton has 99 spacious guest rooms, 45 of which are two room suites, and also has two meeting rooms. The hotel is located on an 86,640 square foot site with a total of 110 surface parking stalls. It is located in Fredericton’s uptown business district and is in close proximity to the Trans Canada Highway.
